2. Field Application Engineer (FAE)

 The Field Application Engineer (FAE) will play a key role in building and sustaining relationships with leading distributors and suppliers of electronic components. This role requires close collaboration with the Product Marketing Team, focusing on creating marketing strategies and offering innovative design approaches for newly developed technological products to various companies. The FAE will be responsible for diagnosing technical issues within existing systems or setups, ensuring they are resolved efficiently and their functionality is maintained. 


 

Key Responsibilities:


  • Customer Requirements & Product Development:
    • Evaluate customer needs and ensure products are tailored to meet these requirements through design, testing, and implementation in re-engineering and new product development projects.
  • Vendor Interaction & Technology Adoption:
    • Engage with leading technology vendors to stay updated on new technologies and architectures that can be deployed.
  • Design IN & WIN Targets:
    • Ensure that monthly targets for Design IN versus Design WIN are achieved.
    • Innovate and propose Design IN or POC designs for various use cases and real-time applications using the latest tools and technologies.
  • Customer Support & Demonstrations:
    • Assist customers in understanding product functionalities and conduct demonstrations for various field applications.
    • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of electronic components and address design-related challenges.
  • Opportunity Identification & Future Growth:


  • Identify customer needs and new product opportunities that can drive future growth.


  

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Technical Expertise:
    • Strong proficiency in C-language and experience with various microcontroller platforms.
    • Basic understanding of APIs, including how to pass parameters to them.
    • Familiarity with IDEs, debuggers, and programmers across different platforms.
  • Experience:
    • 0-5 years of experience as an FAE in the semiconductor industry, preferably with a distributor or supplier.
  • Industry Knowledge:
    • In-depth knowledge of NBO, DIN, DWIN, and PWIN processes.
    • Ability to comprehend customer applications and effectively promote product lines within those applications.
  • Collaboration & Problem-Solving:
    • Coordinate between suppliers and internal teams to provide technical solutions that meet customer requirements.

3. Sales Engineer

Sales Engineer Job Responsibilities:

  • Serves customers by identifying their needs and engineering adaptations of products, equipment, and services.
  • Identifies current and future customer service requirements by establishing personal rapport with potential and actual customers and others in a position to understand service requirements.
  • Provides product, service, or equipment technical and engineering information by answering questions and requests.
  • Establishes new customer list by identifying potential customers and planning and organizing sales call schedule.
  • Prepares cost estimates by studying all related customer BOM, consulting with engineers.
  • Determines improvements by analyzing cost-benefit ratios of equipment, supplies, or service applications in customer environment and engineering or proposing changes in equipment, processes, or use of materials or services.
  • Gains customer acceptance by explaining or demonstrating cost reductions and operations improvements.
  • Submits orders by conferring with technical support staff and costing engineering changes.
  • Develops customer’s staff by providing technical information and training.
  • Prepares sales engineering reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing sales information and engineering and application trends.
  • Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies.
  • Contributes to sales engineering effectiveness by identifying short-term and long-range issues that must be addressed, recommending options and courses of action, and implementing directives.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

  • Familiarity with office software and phone systems.

4. Embedded Intern (Technical Content Creator)
